Chanel Bronze Universal de Chanel

~*Hello Everyone*~

I have finally purchase my one true love... yes it is the Chanel Bronze Universal.
I have seen so many review on this on youtube and I really wanted to try this myself. So the other day I went into the Chanel counter to just test the color to see if it would work on my skin tone.
I have quite a tanned color skin, so I wanted to see the color in person before I purchased it online.

However, when I went to the Chanel counter, I fell in love with it & realized that the price was so relatively good so I brought it there and then.

This is the swatch of the Bronze Universal from a website however my personal opinion is that it is a darker color than this. Please personally check the product from a Chanel counter before purchasing the product

My Review:

The color pay off on my skin tone is not so good because it appears to blend into my skin color. I could use this product as a foundation if I wanted but the whole idea of the Chanel Bronze Universal is that it is a primer for bronzer.

I apply this product with my fingers around the contours of my face (e.g. Under my cheekbones, and near my temples) then apply another form of bronzer on top of it and believe me the bronzer lasts all day! I love it! The consistency is so light and smooth. It applys really well. I use my fingers because I have heard that with some brushes sheds into the Chanel whilst trying to pick up the product and I do not want little brush hairs all inside my Chanel.

A nice little tip is that you could grab the product from the container with your fingers and spread it over your face, then use a Kabui brush and buff the product into you face. This way you do not risk having the brush hairs getting stuck inside the chanel.

It is slightly disappointing that I cannot just wear this product by itself as a bronzer, however if you have lighter skin shade, it will definately work as a bronzer itself. I STRONGLY suggest you go to a Chanel counter and test the color on your face BEFORE you purchase this product.

Overall:

I believe that this product is worth the money. It is expensive for what it is but it does such a good job and gives a beautiful finish that I believe that you will not regret getting this product, if you wear a lot of bronzing products. If you dont like wearing bronzer on a daily basis, then maybe you should think more throughly if you wish to buy it or not. One of these containers will last an extremely long time. So overall, it is worth the money. It will help you look bronzed all year around.

I hope this helps!

Laura Mercier Tinited Moisterizer

~*Hi Everyone*~

I have found my new love and I must share this new love with you all.
I didn't want to be selfish and keep this secret all to myself otherwise its no fun.
I read on the Kim Kardashian website that she recommends a light weight tinted moisterizer when ever she doesn't feel like wearing a full face of make up and this is what she recommended!

The Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisterizer!
It comes in two different formulas - regular or oil free.

I brought the oil free because my skin is oily, however if you have dry or normal skin, go for the regular as it hydrates your skin and moisturizers it.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer - Oil Free is a sheer, lightweight, buildable foundation that can be worn by all skin types but especially those with acne prone, sensitive or oily skin.

  • Hydrating, oil-free formula softens skin offering a healthy glow

  • Controls oil breakthrough while providing hydration to prevent dryness
  • Buildable coverage for those hard-to-cover places
  • Offers further protection from UVB rays & harmful effects of the environment with an SPF 20
  • Ideal for troubled skin
  • 1.7 fl. oz./50ml

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is a sheer, lightweight moisturizer with SPF 20 & a hint of color that can be used in place of foundation for a natural appearance while adding a healthy glow to your complexion.

  • Moisturizing formula hydrates skin, softening & easing fine, dry lines
  • Leaves a natural, dewy finish
  • Features an antioxidant vitamin complex that acts as a free radical scavenger to protect the skin from even the most aggressive effects of the environment
  • Extremely long-wearing, stays colour true & wears evenly

Application Tips
  • Apply with to clean skin after primer (I brought the Laura Mercier Primer in Regular or I use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer)
  • Use a outward and downward motion - be careful not to pull on the skin.
  • To create a dewy finish, set it with Translucent Loose powder (I use Mac Prep + Prime Translucent powder)

Chanel Teint Innocence

I am currently testing out a new liquid foundation by Chanel, known as the Teint Innocence.
Chanel claims that this foundation is a "Fresh, Light fluid texture".
In addition it is a "Light coverage, with satin finish".

The light coverage ensures a flawless, ultra-natural complexion. The skin is moisturized, soft and protected.

- Natural radiance: Light-reflecting pigments and Lumioptic® pigments even out the complexion and conceal imperfections.
- Hydration: Hydrating agents provide the skin with hydration, comfort and suppleness.
- Extreme softness: Softening active ingredients offer a silky sensation and feel.
- Protection: A sun filter (SPF 12) protects the skin from harmful sunrays.

To apply:
Gently dab onto entire face. Blend in with small circular movements, smoothing from the center of the face outwards.
Can use a brush to apply or fingers.

My Review:
So far, this foundation is beautiful, it stay on all day when paired with a good primer.
I use the MAC 187 brush to dab this product onto my face to give that airbrushed effect.
It is very light weight and light coverage, so if you have a lot of blemishes I do not recommended this item. However if you do have blemishes and still love this product, please let me know. That is great if it is good for all skin kinds.
I have oily skin but dry parts under my eye and around the lips sometimes and I find this product is very moisturizing but not over the top.
It is not sticky, but best to apply a setting powder on top of it although this step in not necessary because it isn't sticky product.

Overall, I love this product! <3
